I offer a mindful vinyasa practice geared toward cultivating stability, strength, and mobility. My classes explore the connection of mind, body, and breath within a playful asana practice. By emphasizing actions of alignment rather than cookie-cutter shapes, I hope to guide students towards a personalized practice that serves their needs.

I didn’t like yoga when I first tried it. I continued to attend classes with an interest in strengthening my upper back and shoulders to support my work as a violist. With practice, I began to notice a number of other pleasant side affects. Coming from the competitive world of classical music, it was miraculous to discover a practice where effort, compassion, and self study were the most important measures of success.

I completed a 200 hour RYT training at JP Centre Yoga where I studied yoga with Daniel Max and Magi Pierce, and functional anatomy and postural analysis with Marc Drobnick. Other influential teachers include Matthew Broude, Tim Kelleher, and Alana Brennan.

I currently assist Alana Brennan’s 6 pm All Levels classes on Wednesday nights at JP Centre Yoga. I also teach volunteer classes for Hands to Heart Center, a nonprofit organization that shares the healing practice of yoga with people affected by addiction, poverty & trauma in Boston.
